Position Title: ABA Therapist (Autism Support)
Location: Poultney ,VT School District available to start ASAP.
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to work directly with children with autism in the school setting. In this role, you will implement individualized behavioral intervention programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), while collaborating with a team of experienced Behavior Technicians to support the child’s development and success. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 behavioral intervention to children with autism during their school day.
- Participate in comprehensive training on ABA techniques, including discrete trial teaching, behavior management, child development, and data collection strategies.
- Receive ongoing supervision and support from a BCBA for each client you work with.
- Observe, track, and record behavioral data using electronic devices, ensuring accurate and consistent documentation.
- Maintain open and professional communication with supervisory staff and fellow team members.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with autism in an ABA setting is required.
- Certification is not required for this position.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to enhancing their developmental progress.
